Non-academic subjects are a vital part of learning for children. VCS Home School offers a wide range of activities in Music, Arts, and Physical Education. Aside from the academic subjects that they learn at home, children have the chance to get together twice a week and enjoy singing, dabbling in art, street dancing, and playing soccer.

Our teachers are just passionate at what they do. Teachers Van Ricafranca (art), Abigail Pionso (music), and Jane Mangubos (dance), and the soccer coaches are highly skilled and have the heart to use their gifts to help hone skills in their students. Proof of this is the sustained interest and high energy that each student manifests on these Tuesdays and Thursdays.

More classes and events are upcoming! Here are some you can look forward to very soon: Varied Home Economics classes (we’ll start with sewing on July 26 & Aug 2), instrument learning (violin, piano, flute), more sports (swimming and basketball), Jr. Explorers & Team Explorers (scouting), and a soccer tournament.

The MAPE classes have successfully provided a good balance for the VCS Home School program. Children truly enjoy every activity as they are able to interact with other home school students while they learn at the same time.
